I look at my gallery and I'm feeling rather pathetic. The amount of art I've created since "leaving" the professional art world is pathetic.

I've had a much harder time coming to terms with how my migraine auras would affect me than I initially realized. Up until four years ago, I could identify an oncoming migraine by the tension in the left side of my neck and jaw. Then suddenly I started getting visual auras. And by visual, I mean "Completely fuck up your vision" visual. My sight will go dim, or everything will take on a green tint, or I'll get pulses of red, or sometimes large spots will take up a large percentage of my field of view. Learning to accept that I can't always trust what I'm seeing has been something of a culture shock for me, as I've always been a visually oriented person.

The winter break is coming up in the next few weeks, and I'd like to take on an art project, so I feel like I haven't lost what little talent I had. Hopefully I'll have something new to post and people won't think of me as the one-hit wonder with Royalty at the Beach
